What if I want to bring bring my 2 kids for an hour’s swim?
You must pay the booking fee, ensure that your children are supervised at all times and they wear the necessary water safety equipment and follow our strict Day Visitor rules.
What if I only want to shoot content?
eMalondweni Homestead is a private space, unlike a public park. So, whether you are coming to only take photos of the plants or yourself in front of the flowers – you must book ahead of time and pay the applicable fee.
Can I come for a “short rest” with my partner or spend the night in your private guest suite?
We are available on AirBnB if you search under Paulpietersburg. Normal rates apply. However, as a family and child friendly location, we reserve the right to reject visits of immoral nature. We encourage family visits and can accommodate up to 8 people in the various sleeping quarters, including sleeper couches.
Can I host an event eMalondweni?
We have plenty of room for events. However, we encourage intimate events with guests not exceeding 200 people and highly discourage unruly noise.
What is the difference between noise and sound?
Noise is defined as sound that is loud, disruptive, unpleasant or that causes disturbance. With all due respect, if you do not know the difference or unable to gauge the appropriate level of sound for enjoyment, then you are probably best not booking the space.
Can you turn off your cameras before and during my visit?
The cameras are there for your safety and security. We do not have intrusive recording devices in, around or facing the swimming pool area – we respect and ensure your privacy from people within and outside the establishment.
Do you sell alcoholic drinks or meat products?
eMalondweni Homestead is not a licenced liquor holder. Therefore, we do not sell alcoholic drinks. We are strictly a “bring-your-own” drinks and meat location. We cannot replenish your depleting stock. You can make use of our fridges to store your cold beverages, food, etc. You can enquire about or request additional eating/drinking utensil.
